Grown in Huila, Colombia, near the Nevado de Huila volcano. Because of the location being so close to a volcano, the soil is very rich in minerals. Hand-cranked machines are used to de-pulp the beans cherry, and they're dried on raised beds. 

 

Medium body, with tart fruit and dark cocoa notes. The fruit will hit you first when you taste it, then the cocoa will come in after that, rounding out this really good Colombian single origin.
